Introduction to Local Peace:
Local Peace is a grassroots non-governmental organization based in Leposavić / Leposaviq, dedicated to promoting peace and reconciliation since 2019. Grounded in the belief that empathy, relationship building, and compassion are essential in creating a peaceful society, our organization strives to empower individuals to become active agents in the peace-building process. Through a combination of educational initiatives, community engagement, and advocacy efforts, Local Peace endeavors to foster understanding, tolerance, and respect among all members of our community.
About Local Peace:
Local Peace conducts non-formal training sessions focused on peacebuilding and reconciliation across all communities in Kosovo, particularly targeting young people. We support youth in exploring peace activism and human rights, fostering understanding and collaboration for a more inclusive society.
