At Local Peace, we are a grassroots non-governmental organization committed to fostering peace and promoting reconciliation in Leposavić / Leposaviq since our inception in 2019. Grounded in the belief that empathy, relationship building, and compassion are fundamental to rebuilding and cultivating a peaceful society, our organization endeavors to make a meaningful difference in our community.
About the Campaign:
“Labels are for goods, not for people” – Countering intolerance and stigmas through youth work is a vital initiative aimed at addressing the pervasive issues of intolerance, prejudices, and stigmas. Through a series of capacity-building activities, the project empowers youth trainers/educators, youth activists, and the wider community with the knowledge and tools to combat hate speech and intolerance.
